Lua Lua Hostel is at Calle Fernando Guanarteme 27 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Las Canteras beach is about a four-minute walk away.

Yes. Lua Lua Hostel offers bunk beds in shared female and mixed dorms. Bed linen and WiFi are included; check the booking engine for options available on your dates.

We are a licensed youth hostel, registration number 011/GC03, with shared mixed and female dormitories and bunk beds.

If you experience vertigo, have reduced mobility or find it difficult to use a top bunk, please contact us before booking so we can assess whether the hostel suits your needs.

Global bus 60 connects the airport with Parque de Santa Catalina between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. From there, the hostel is less than a ten-minute walk.

After 11:00 p.m. there is only one remaining bus and the journey takes more than an hour. We may be able to offer a car pick-up; ask us on WhatsApp.

Check-in is from 2:00 p.m. to midnight.

Access is automatic. Before arriving, complete the online registration and follow the personal instructions sent to you on your arrival day.

Before arrival, everyone included in the booking must complete and sign the online registration form.

At around noon on your arrival day, you will receive your personal access instructions and room and bed assignment by message. Staff may not be present when you arrive.

We send them at around noon on the arrival day, once every guest’s online registration is complete.

If you have not received them, message us on WhatsApp or by SMS before coming to the door.

Check-in starts at 2:00 p.m. If you would like to leave luggage or use the common areas earlier, ask us on WhatsApp or by SMS.

We will reply as soon as possible. Availability depends on the hostel’s occupancy at that time.

You must leave the room and hostel before 11:00 a.m. By then, your bed, locker and kitchen food trays must be free of personal belongings.

If you want to remain in the hostel or leave belongings in the locker after that time, an additional night must be paid.

The terrace closes at 10:00 p.m. under local regulations. Out of respect for our neighbours, drugs, excessive alcohol consumption and noise are not allowed.

• Kitchen: 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
• Terrace: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

We will do our best, but as a small hostel we cannot guarantee a particular bed.

If a lower bunk is essential because of mobility, vertigo or another need, contact us before booking.

Bed linen is included. You will have a locker assigned to your bed; remember to bring your own padlock.

Towels are available on request.

Tell us your preference and we will do our best, but assignments depend on availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Extensions depend on availability. Contact us before your booking ends so we can explain the procedure and applicable price.

You can also make a new direct booking on our website. Add a note saying you are already staying with us and we will try to keep you in the same room and bed.

For EU citizens, payment may be taken from two days before arrival. For citizens of other countries, it may be taken at any time after we receive the booking.

Even if charged earlier, you may change or cancel free of charge until two days before arrival. Group bookings have different conditions.

Group bookings are subject to special conditions.

Lua Lua is a small hostel and bookings for more than three people have special conditions:

• The rate increases by 50% and must be paid in full when booking.
• Once paid, cancellations, refunds and changes are not accepted.
• If payment is not received when booking, we will understand that the booking has been relinquished.
• We cannot guarantee that the whole group will stay at Lua Lua or in the same room.
• Groups cannot arrive outside check-in hours, from 2:00 p.m. to midnight.
